ACELT'S MISSION


Teacher and Trainer Development:
To carry out training and development programs for language and literature teachers and teacher trainers.

Management Development:
To facilitate the review and/or revision of English Language and Literature Teaching (ELLT) programs and to prepare ELLT managers to support, monitor, and sustain the implementation of these.

Research and Publication:
To engage in research and publication that impact on curriculum and instructional materials development and classroom teaching practices.

Program and Materials Development:
To design and develop ELLT programs and instructional materials.

Advocacy, Networking, and Communications:
To establish linkages and collaborate with national and international agencies involved in ELLT.
